slightly nonlinear equation

Post by Takala »

Hi,

I have a differential equation (below) that needs to be solved. It seems to be non-linear. I have no idea that how hard this is for the machine, I guess its not trivial. Do you have any tips how to differentiate this or any other helpful tips (such as "don't even try it" :) )?

cheers,

Eelis

oops, what a brain fart... the equation reduces to dA/dt+d/dx(A*rho_0*dA/dx), which seems to be very much solvable in deed.

sorry to bother you...
