Dear all,
I am a newbie with Elmer (but versed in other FEM simulation tools) and trying first tutorials.
As far as I understand, in the tutorial "ElasticHookNonlinear" nonlinear elasticity is applied.
But in Elmer and this tutorial case files I cannot find the nonlinear stress-strain curve of the Austenitic steel as table values?
Who can help and tell me, where to find this nonlinear curve?
Many thanks,
Dieter

Re: Nonlinear Elasticity Curve
Elmer, by default, only includes geometric non-linear behavior not material non-linear behavior. When the tutorial speaks of non-linear it is refering to geometric non-linear behavior.
Too include material non-linear behavior in Elmer you must write your own material model subroutines.
