Problems Setting up with Elmer Gui

Hello Bill,

Which version of Elmer are you using? If using Debian/Ubuntu packages, please provide the full package version e.g. 5.5.0.svn.4214.dfsg-1ubuntu1 etc. Otherwise please provide the SVN revision number.

I don't know whether this is just what you need.
I am running an Ubuntu version of Elmer.
When i start up the Elmer Logger it reports:
Version: 2.1 Mesa 7.7.1

Does that help?

Nope, the revision is unfortunately only displayed at the start of the ElmerSolver execution. Mesa is just the graphics library.

For the Ubuntu package, you can use at the command line:

COLUMNS=200 dpkg -l elmer

or use System -> Administration -> Synaptic, quick search for elmer, and look under "Installed Version".
