Hi,
Using the GUI, is it possible to modify my mesh file (.msh format from gmsh) to produce a higher density of elements at boundaries of the mesh, in much the same what as the boundary layer feature of elmergrid used to work?

Hi
You should still be able to use the boundary layer addition of ElmerGrid. Either directly using the command-line version of ElmerGrid, or in ElmerGUI. There you can set the ElmerGrid in-line parameters in Configure / elmergrid String. The default here is "-relh 1.0" but you would write something like "-layer 1 5 0.1 5.0". Note that the boundary layer creation works only for rather simple 2D cases.

Ah, excellent.
I have now had a fiddle in 2D unfortunately I'm using 3D, but never mind!
