Simulation in micro-scale

Do you know if is a simulation of temperature distribution in porous materials having micro-scale pores possible by Elmer GUI?
The detail of the material structure is a disc of 15 mm in diameter and 1 mm in thickness containing a lot of micropores of 10 um in diameter.

It depends on what level of detail is being required. On a macro-level you can just change the density of the material to something less. I think we need more specific details.
