Hi,
I don't understand from the manual what is the difference between "applied magnetic field" in the material section and "magnetic field" as a boundary condition. Thanks in advance for your answers.

Re: Magnetic Induction Equation boundaries conditions
I believe in general an applied field is a load applied to a body. There may be other loads acting on the body. A set boundary condition means that boundary has to stay at that condition, regardless of the loads applied to the system.

Thanks, Kevin, but in both cases is an external field, isn't it?kevinarden wrote: ↑28 Jun 2021, 00:23 I believe in general an applied field is a load applied to a body. By reading again the manual, I understood that the magnetic flux density is considered as an external field only if I use a restart filekevinarden wrote: ↑28 Jun 2021, 00:23 I believe in general an applied field is a load applied to a body. I have tried to create a restart file, but It gives me an error. Its the first time for me wit a restart file.
