Hi Peter,
nice to see a new version is out.
I have a question on the new solver GmshReader, there appear to be no documentation or test cases on this solver. If this is the case, would it be possible to have some?
Many thanks,
Marco

Navier-Stokes and Natural Convection, steady state possible?
Hi all,
Not being familiar with CFD and thermal simulation I have a very basic question, is it possible to do steady state simulations on natural convection with Navier-Stokes solver?
On the test cases I was able to find only transient examples, hence the question.
Thanks,
Marco

Re: problems with electro-thermal simulation
Hummm... I'm starting to convince myself that theres nothing wrong with the simulation. In fact, I'm not accounting for any sort convection, heat conductivity of air (0.025) is miserable and if you start to increase it up to that of copper you will see that copper trace temperature (when heat conduc...

problems with electro-thermal simulation
Hi all, I'm trying to setup a steady state simulation to understand the raise in temperature of a trace on a pcb. The starting model is very simple, just a small PCB with a straight trace (20mm long). All is immersed in air. Dimensions are ok, I've checked this by comparing the analytical solution o...

Re: Can't open module file ‘zoltan.mod
Hi Peter, I understand, in any case I managed to find the problem. The directory that needs to be removed before launching elmer_install.sh had its name changed from "builddir" to "builddir_devel" Can you please update the "Rreadme1st.tx" file in the virtual machine dow...

Re: Can't open module file ‘zoltan.mod
HI all, just an update, I've tried the commands "git submodule sync" and "git submodule update --init" in the Source directory and they worked (I could see the directory Zoltan_v3.83 in contrib) however after saying "./elmer_install.sh" I've got the same compelling erro...
