Re: Turbulent Flow Simulations with Elmer - A Request

Hello,

Is there someone in the Elmer team working on the CFD topic again?
Elmer is a very complete multiphysic software, lot of users would be added if Elmer has a powerfull CFD capabilities, as me :) .

Thank you for your work.

Best regards

Re: Elmer 9.0 crashes on Windows 10

Hello,

Ok thank for your answer.

What about the multiple crashes on Windows? Do I have to run without the GUI ?
The GUI is very nice! Seems a commercial software.

Re: Turbulent flow at high Reynolds number - Convergence problem

Hello, Is there some news in the CFD domain for Elmer? I know that some Openfoam coupling alternatives exist. Hope that some day it will be possible to perform 3D fluid flow turbulent models coupled with Induction heating in Elmer ! Elmer would be real open source Swiss knife of the multiphysic comp...

Re: 3d and ke Navier-Stockes

Hello,

The problem comes from boundary layer mesh. Now I use only tetraedral mesh.

Is there some recommadations for the solver set up to resolve ke NS equations in 3D?

Best regards

I have an error in the terminal: ERROR:Elmentinfo: Bubbles for element: 706 are not implemented ERROR:Elmentinfo: Please use p-element basis instead I don't know how to do this change, someone can indicate me where I can switch...
