Re: I am once again asking for your help.

Hello Rich and Kevin, I've been working on a project where I initially tried out the transient study, only to realize that a time variable was unnecessary in my context. I've made some progress, which appears quite promising. Currently, my goal is to expose a metallic sphere to a magnetic dipole fie...

Re: I am once again asking for your help.

Hi kevin! I am using (or I believe I am using a quasi-static magnetic field). Therefore, I do not require the time dependence in my output. I simply wish to comprehend the nature of my obtained output. Is it similar to this? Does this imply that the resulting magnetic flux density is B_re cos(wt) + ...

Re: I am once again asking for your help.

Hello Rich! I wanted to express my gratitude for your advice! It was really helpful. I discovered that there were some typos in my .sif file, but after correcting them, I obtained some promising results (the shape is consistently good). I used the SaveLine Solver and plotted the shape, which turned ...

Re: I am once again asking for your help.

Hey! I wanted to reach out and thank you for your assistance. I followed your advice, and things are looking promising. I managed to achieve the right shape, which is great. However, I'm encountering the same magnetic flux density values for both the real (re) and imaginary (im) parts, even when I a...

Re: I am once again asking for your help.

Hi! I wanted to express my gratitude for your valuable assistance! It finally worked, and I couldn't be happier. It took me quite a while to figure it out, but hey, better late than never! The results are incredibly accurate and align with the theoretical predictions in numerous aspects. Now, I'm pl...

Re: I am once again asking for your help.

Hey Rich! Thanks for getting back to me! I've been using the GMSH library in Python to generate my mesh, and I've attached the code to this message for your reference. I think that the way I'm currently using it might be causing some boundary issues, as each sphere seems to be unaware of the others....

Hi Rich!

Thanks for your reply!! I do apologize, i thought the description was enough to understand my problem.

I have attached the relevant documents for your reference. Please take a look and let me know your thoughts.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,

Re: I am once again asking for your help.

Hi again, I am still trying to simulate the magnetic field near a metallic permeable sphere. My geometry is quite simple; I have a metallic sphere with a relative permeability mu_r=2 inside another sphere of air(or vacuum) with a relative permeability of 1. The analytic magnetic field inside the sph...

Re: I am once again asking for your help.

Hello, I wanted to provide an update on my progress with generating the desired magnetic field. I've been experimenting with adding metallic objects, starting with a sphere as it seems to be the most interesting example. I expected the magnetic field in the surrounding cube to be deformed by the pre...

Re: I am once again asking for your help.

Big thanks for the suggestion! I'm really hopeful that it's going to work. I just have one small query: If I'm aiming to generate a homogeneous magnetic field with a constant gradient (say, B = y e_z or (Bx=0, By=0, Bz=y)), would it be feasible to utilize MATC? I'm aware that it could be quite time-...
