Electrostatics simple case
Hello everyone, I am trying to understand a method to calculate ELectric FIeld with Elmer. To do so I started with a simple geometry wich is a conductor inside a box of air. I set the conductor's boundary to a potential of 1000V and the rest of the boundaries to 0V. When I check the results I get th...

Re: Electrostatics
Hi Peter,
But with StatCurrentSolve I am not able to calculate the Electric Field.
And in the units for Potential is simply V, right?
Thank you
Guillem

Conductor Phases
Hi I wanted to study a model of 3 conductors, each one in a different phase R S T, and analyse the Magnetic and Electric Field created. The problem I have is when introducing the currents for the conductors, I do not know how can you specify the intensity phase. The working frequency of the conducto...

Electrostatics
Hello everyone, I wanted to study the electric field created by a conductor with current inside. In the Body Force there is Charge Density and I don't really know what it means, is it like Current Density (A/m^2) or is it related with the voltage? Then in BC there is Electric flux, and I have the sa...

Re: Solution trivially zero and failed to allocate memory
Perfect!
It works perfectly now, thank you so much.
Now I just need to discover if it is possible to introduce current with real and imaginary components.
I really appreciate your answers!

Re: Solution trivially zero and failed to allocate memory
Perfect, thank you!
Now it works fine , but only introducing current density in real numbers.
Does anyone know how to introduce imaginary components of current density in the WhitneyAVSolver?

Re: Solution trivially zero and failed to allocate memory
And how do you specify to the Outer BC that it is an Infinite BC, like in the Electrostatic Solver?

Re: Solution trivially zero and failed to allocate memory
Hi Peter, I really appreciate your response. I have added BCs to my case and the objective is to introduce current into the wire (the case is a cube of air and thisconductor in the middle), but I still get solution trivially zero, with BiCGStabl. If yo know what my error is it woul be really helpful...

Solution trivially zero and failed to allocate memory
Hello everyone, I am having some trouble solving a magnetodynamics problem. The thing is that it appears the message of solution trivially zero, even though previous simulations worked well because I had done the modifications said in another post about this topic. I post my case file in case anyone...

Re: Electromagnetics 3D boundary conditions
Hi, Thank you for your answer. I have been through the tutorials and the boundaries applied there are by introducing potential, but I would like to introduce intensity in complex numbers. I have seen that in Body Force it is possible to give a current density which would work fine I guess. the thing...
