Problems with the tutorial model

Post by kmer_bcn »

Hello

I am rather new to Elmer and I am going through the tutorial guide. The example that I am now setting up is the one based on the 3D magnetic fields of a wire. The problem seems to converge, but as soon as I open paraview I see all the flux density as zero.
Nevertheless the components of the magnetic potential seems to be not equal to zero in one of the edges of the conductor.

What was wrong with the set up of the model? May it be paraview?

Best regards,

Only equation 1 is being applied to the bodies
Body 1
Target Bodies(1) = 1
Name = "Body Property 1"
Equation = 1
Material = 1
End

Body 2
Target Bodies(1) = 2
Name = "Body 2"
Equation = 1
Material = 2
End

However there are two equations

Equation 1
Name = "MgHarm"
Active Solvers(1) = 1
End

Equation 2
Name = "MgDynPost"
Active Solvers(1) = 2
End

There should only be 1 equation that uses both solvers
Equation 1
Name = "MgHarm"
Active Solvers(2) = 1 2
End

If you are using the GUI create one equation and check both solvers active. The steps in the tutorial should only result in 1 equation.
