Did anyone do a validation for the v2f turbulent model in Elmer? i found there might be a problem in the wall boundary condition in the test case of Step_v2f. Is there a default setting for Noslip Wall BC for v2f model?
Boundary Condition 3
Target Boundaries(4) = 4 5 6 7
Noslip Wall BC = Logical True
End

Re: v2f turbulent model
Hi Will
See for example Slide 13 in
http://www.nic.funet.fi/pub/sci/physics ... 3April.pdf
It is available also as a consitency test (last in the list):
raback@hippu3:/fs/proj1/elmer/raback/elmerfem/fem/tests> grep -i v2fSolver */*.sif
Step_v2f/Step_v2f.sif: Procedure = "V2FSolver" "V2F_LDM"
channel_v2f/channel_v2f.sif: Procedure = "V2FSolver" "V2F_LDM"
diffuser_v2f/diffuser_v2f.sif: Procedure = "V2FSolver" "V2F_LDM"
Of course problems may still persist.

Re: v2f turbulent model
Peter, thanks a lot. I will go through this and see if there is a problem.
