SifGenerator: Body index out of bounds

Post by VolkerWerle »

Dear Elmer Team,
I want to report a bug in the Elmer GUI:
The Elmer revision I use is 4933 compiled on SuSE 10.3.

The geometry and the mesh are created with Salome 5.1.4, including groups of faces and bodies, exported to *.unv and imported with ElmerGrid 8 2 *.unv - autoclean.
The mesh can be opened with ElmerGUI and looks fine. I can edit all the model parameters, all boundaries and bodies are shown and can be selected.
But sif generation fails, ElmerGUI crashes with the message: SifGenerator: Body index out of bounds
After that I have created a sif file by hand, run ElmerSolver and got a result that looks ok.
But If I try to open this project with ElmerGUI, the GUI crashes with the error message: SifGenerator: Body index out of bounds

I have attached the files of the project, hoping that this may help to isolate what is going wrong.
Some of my projects have this problem, some not. Unfortunatlely I can give you no more details about this.

Best Regards
Volker
