ElmerGrid partition joining and timesteps (for post-proc)

Post by hazelsct »

Hi,

The -partjoin option to ElmerGrid, which unifies the partitions in a decomposed domain, is not documented in the most recent ElmerGrid Manual (January 13, 2011). When working with a very large data set, it takes a very long time to run, and produces a very very large merged .ep file!

Is there a way to specify creating the .ep file with just a subset of the timesteps, or just one?

Just looked through the source code, and found the -saveinterval switch, which is in the ElmerGrid Manual. All set!
