Piezoelectric transducer simulation

Post by yituanheqi »

Hi, I am wondering how to use Elmer for piezoelectric transducer. There is limited references or tutorials about this. I know there is a StaticElecSlover.f90 for this kind of problems. If a detailed document available, much easier for uses to implement. Any suggestion for this issue? Thanks a lot.

There is a related example in 'elmerfem/src/tests/piezo'. If you have tried running this example, does it help with your situation?

Attached is another example. Apply a load on the cantilever beam, StressSolver calculates the strain, then StatElecSolver uses the strain to calculate electrical potential.
