[resolved] magnetization setting for Magnetic Fields in 3D

Post by uwestoehr »

The models manual state in section 18 " Computation of Magnetic Fields in 3D" that there is a body force called magnetization. When using ElmerGUI however, there is no possibility to set a magnetization as body force.

My question is therefore if this is a missing feature in ElmerGUI or a mistake in the manual.

The GUI doesn't have everything, the solvers are updated much more frequently than the GUi.
Actually the manuals do not have everything, the solvers are updated much more frequently than the manuals.

The GUI does have a free text field, anything typed in the free text field is echoed in the sif for that section.

Thanks for clarification. So as long as I can rely that what is in the docs, will work, I am fine.
Meanwhile I have played with the magnetization settings and can confirm it works.
