Is there a comprehensive list of short description of element types. I couldn't find the description for type 202 which is used in some of the tutorials...

See http://www.nic.funet.fi/pub/sci/physics ... Manual.pdf, page 99. 202 is a quadratic line element. In addition to the nodal elements there are p-elements, face, edge elements etc. -Peter
