Hi,

In model==> Equation==>Edit solver settings in Linear system am not sure about the methode to use, have you an idea about this.

Hi,

I would first solve the problem that your simulation doesnt' seem to give the result you expect. You can use the defaults as long as the simulation converges in a reasonable time without errors or warnings.

Could you show more of your log file if someone should tell you what goes wrong?
Without knowong more details, I would guess that this message might be related to the fact that you seem to use a 2D solver with a 3D geometry, and that the solver looks for a property called thickness which it doesn't find. Have a look into the models manual and search for the keyword "thickness"...

Hi,

Ok am looking for this inforlation in the pdf, for the geometrie i change it and i make a 2D mesh (plate dim 0.5m*0.3m*0.003m).

Thank you

Hi,

could you post the whole logfile?
It seems that your mesh has problems also.
And you should carefully read the chapter on the solver you are using... ;)

By "log file" I mean the output on the terminal. It will be written to a file by calling the solver like this:

ElmerSolver > case.log 2>&1

where case.log is your logfile.
Drawback: you don't see the output on the terminal.

Hi,

I cannot see what the problem is from the picture.
For gmsh-specific questions there is a gmsh mailing list... ;)
