Hi,

question 1)
If you use EmlerGUI, don't edit the sif file manually, as it will be overwritten. There are free text fields where you can put stuff which is not contained in the menus and dialogs. And you can add missing keywords in the xml definition of the solver settings.

You can also have the sif file generated by ElmerGUI only the first time (or write it from scratch), then edit it with your preferred text editor (e.g. notepad++) and start ElmerSolver from a DOS box. Just cd to the directory where the sif resides and say

elmersolver

and the solver should start, spitting its output to the DOS box. You can redirect it to a file also.

Hi Michal,
you know what I found out?
Compare this two figures from national iso-standards: I sat hours doubting what was saying mine, see body 3. For big luck I found yours. What without you?? Thank you. For that standardization bodies charge thousands of Euros annually, that nobody notices their bugs and anybody who faces them at last is left helplessly?
Already went and filled up the gap with air.

Really true.

Lets see what is coming next. - Something comes. ;)
