Hi, ELMER Post users,
I have done a transient analysis over a 2D problem. Now I need to find max values of the temperature from each time step and I want to calculate the sum of the Velocity_abs over the whole area for only one time step. How can this be done in ELMER Post? Or do I need to use a special solver to calculate it during the run of ELMER?
I appreciate any hints.
Yours sincerely Martin

Re: Finding max values in transient analysis
Hi
It makes sense to do it on-the-fly using SaveScalars solver. Then you don't need the full results at all. In save scalars you will find operators "min" and "max". When you launch SaveScalars after each timestep you will get a single file where the results are tabulated with time.
