Hi,
first at all, sorry for my bad englisch
I use Salome as my meshgenerator, and have a problem to import unv files in Elmer. The importet file locks like a line, it seems that every nodes Y and Z coordinate is set do 0, and anly X coordinates are right.
Strangly, this bug is only under Linux / Ubuntu. If i import the same file in Elmer installed on a Windows mashine, there is no problem.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem?
Sincerly,
Sven
Import unv from Salome
Re: Import unv from Salome
Hi,
I solved the Problem by my own. Here is the solution:
Open an Terminal and navigate to the directory where the unv file is.
type:
ElmerGrid 8 2 MyFile.unv
This create an folder with 4 (i guess it is 4) files. You are be able to open thes folder (not the files in it) with Elmer by using the "Load Mesh" command.
Greetings,
Sven
