Using Dakota optimisation software with Elmer

Post by mark smith » 06 Dec 2016, 20:26

Hi All,
I'm looking at trying to interface Elmer with Dakota and wondered if anyone else is using it who might be able to offer advice?

I've already produced my own application that generates parameterized geometry using gmsh from a table of possible input parameters, meshes it runs elmer, postprocesses the results then goes to the next geometry variant. So I know what I need to do but getting it to interface with Dakota is somewhat of a mystery at the moment.

Thanks in advance
