Hi all! I would like to integrate the current density in the y direction over a surface section with paraview. Does anyone have any idea? Thankns in advance!

Hi,

there is an "integrate variables" filter. You can see what filters there are in the manu under Filters->Alphabetical, and in the Help under "ParaView User Manual"->Filters.

Hi! Thanks for your answer. I saw that tool, but I think I do not understand it well. Do you have any experience using it? I have a cross shape where a current is flowing. I would like to know the current density in the y direction in, for example, an arm of the cross. Do you know how can I do this?

Thanks!

No, I didn't use that filter so far, sorry.

For more detailed ParaView questions, I recommend to search the ParaView mailing list, and if you don't find an answer, ask there. You normally get an answer rather quickly.

Hi everybody,

attached you find a simple 2Daxi testcase.
