Hi Leo
while I'm at it, I might suggest that you have a look at the parameters in Mesh / Configure /nglib that are passed on to netgen for meshing. For example, reducing Max H: might do the trick.

I am new to Elmer and am fascinated by it. I made a simple 3D model with FreeCAD to export in .STP format. When I opened in ElmerGUI the mesh size was very big and circular contour was destroyed. When I remeshed in FreeCAD and expoerted, ElmerGUI has crashed. How to go about it?

Ps. I am running them in Mac OX Lion.Here is the code .STEP
