Multiple isosurfaces with opacity

Post by Captain Slow »

Howdy,

I would like to show my results (elmer/N-S eqn) using more than one isosurface. Each isosurface with an opacity less than 100%such that the one behind it can be seen. However, this is the result:
two_isosurface_opacity.png
two_isosurface_opacity.png (132 KiB) Viewed 3964 times
Obviously that is not useable, is there any way to improve the quality of the image?

Hi

I would suggest using Paraview. ElmerPost is more or less what it is, and that does not look too good.

Peter, thankyou for your reply-I'll have a play with paraview.

Is there a reason that the above image looks so bad? some limitation on filesize or somesuch?
