GebhardtFactors.exe gives error

Post by BDesco »

Hello,
running GebhardtFactors.exe from the command line, I get the following error:

Code: Select all

Program received signal SIGSEGV: Segmentation fault - invalid memory reference.
I have no idea what this means?

Is the GebhardtFactors.exe documented?

Thank you.

You don't need to run this code anymore separately. This has been coded in for the purpose of enabling temperature dependent emissivities, for example. The reference for this code has been removed from sources of the documentation. -Peter

Thanks Raback,
I kinda concluded that from my search. It is just that a project gave errors when running and I thought I might be able to narrow done the origin of the problem by executing the separate steps: Viewfactors.exe, GerhardtFactors.exe ...
But if I understand you correctly this is not possible or not advised.

Yes, GebhardtFactors.exe is obsolite. ViewFactors.exe is still used and sometimes it is good idea to run it first. -Peter
