Hello,
I recently create a new projet. During the creation the Elmer definition file editor was like the first image.
Then I took care to save all the file (save, save project), leave Elmer et restart it and then the Elmer definition file editor had duplicated solvers see second image...
What am I doing wrong?
Other question:
When we run a simulation do we have to save project before systematically because Elmer will use the file in the project directory and not the modified file which are not already saved?
Thanks
Regards.

Re: Problem with Elmer definition file editor
Hello Peter,
From Help / about there is no version , see picture.
In my directory the elmer folder is called:
Elmer 8.3-432ee0dd
I'm on windows 7.
Is there a more recent compilation for windows?
Thanks a lot.
Regards.
Cédric.

Hi
I hope this is not relevant as the GUI has changed alot. Happened to just put an updated version to sf.net yesterday, more versions in nic.funet.fi.

Re: Problem with Elmer definition file editor
Hello Peter,
Thanks for this new version, I hope that with this new GUI I will not have double definition in definition file editor....
I've installed this new version and unfortunately Elmer crashed when I double click on body properties definition, see attached picture, is it due to a bad definition in my mesh? (The simulation runs OK with this mesh...)
Thanks a lot,
Regards
Cédric.

Hi
Did you start a fresh project or tried to load an existing project?

Re: Problem with Elmer definition file editor
Hello,
I started with a mesh from GMSH generated in 2.2 version. I opened this mesh, add equation and boundaries and then save with "save project" .
Maybe the generated mesh with 2.2 version of GMSH can create problems...
Thanks
