hi
what free cad program to use for the ELMER field-solver?
the elmer doesnt have a drawing program, i need to import from something.
this something should be able to draw 3D structures, in a forma twhich is good for the elmer

Hi,
you can use gmsh (www.gmsh.info) or Salomé (www.salome-platform.org). Both have CAD capabilities and a mesher. In gmsh save the mesh in gmsh 2 ASCII format (using File->Export). In Salomé, save in .unv format. Both formats can be imported by ElmerGUI.
