MagntoDynamics2D and flux condition?

Post by sebastien ROUQUETTE »

Hello dear all elmer users,

I have a question about the Magnetodynamics2D solver and the boundary conditions:
- There is a Dirichlet condition with Az = scalar
- it is said that there is an alternative flux conditions 1/µ*(dAz/dn) = g but i don't see any keywords? to give a value to g!
- or this "g" letter is just only for setting "the far field approximation"?

Thank you for your reply.

PS: actually, i would like to apply a surface current density on a boundary but there is no possibility to do it? is anyone has an idea?

Hi

Funnily it seems that only the far-field condition has been coded in. The pure Neumann condition is even somewhat simpler but it just hasn't been added.

i guess can be just a scalar or a user define function... it is just a syntax used it.
