Here is a tutorial/workflow example of application of Elmer in simulations of electrical machines.

This tutorial is not yet complete, but it can save a lot of time for those who just started to work with Elmer.

I have a question regarding iron loss.I simulated transient loss.sif file and I got results as shown in the figure (attached in above message). Are these values are for no load condition? as i understood. Can you help me in understanding them more? Actually, i want to calculate loss values at 32.5 N load condition. Give me some instruction how can i reach that goal.

Dear ELMER -users, (perhaps Pavel Ponomarev or Peter Raback),
since 10 year i use successful femm, to calculate induction machines.
For some purposes i have to extract the data of the T-shaped equivalent circit.
You know to get the (over all) 2D-induction, you need the flux linkage and the slot current,
to get the slot induction, you need the magnetic slot energy and the slot current.
Could somebody give me a tip, how to do that with elmer ?
(Studying the ELMER docu would cost me some months. )
