Acoustic Scattering

Post by P.Ramji » 22 Nov 2009, 17:51

I am currently doing a research project on acoustic scattering by measuring acoustic properties of apertures and aperture devices by creating a reverberant field on one side of the aperture and a free field on the other side. I will be doing this by designing an enclosure containing a loud speaker that can be placed in my department’s anechoic chamber. For anyone who has used it for this purpose, or something similar, I wanted to know how beneficial it would be and if there could be any limitations, since I would like to make comparisons of this to my results computed in matlab. Thanks.
