mesh refinement

Hi group,

Is there a way to refine the mesh only in a specific local of the model? or a kind of adaptive mesh?
I have tried to change the max H on the configuration mesh menu, but with that all the mesh was increased and the number of nodes was too high.
I'm sending attached a image of my mesh. I would like to improve the mesh only around the object in the center. Is it possible?
