Spring Elements

Hello Everybody
I am trying to complete a simple model: A cylindrical shaft into an annulus. These two parts are connected via a set of springs with certain stiffnesses.
The question is:
Does anybody know how to add these spring elements?
Doe anybody have a tutorial to the same effect?
