Hi Elmer community,
I tend to run all my simulations from the command line, so I produce a mesh and partition it using elmergrid and place the partition directory in the same folder as the sif file and ELMER_STARTINFO file and then launch the application from the terminal/command line, if using windows I'd use "mpiexec -n 16 elmersolver_mpi" Now is it possible to run the same case from Elmergui just so I can take advantage of the convergence plot facility without having to load a mesh or project?
Regards
Mark

Hi Mark
You might take a look at earlier discussion on the topic

I would think that you could also use ElmerGUI just maybe removing the pre- and postrpocessing steps related to parallel execution. Just be carefull not to save thereby overwriting the sif file.
