Hi, dear Elmer users!
I want to ack a question about Boundary conditions of two body contact in Heat equation. As we know, Its expression is:
λ1(dT/dx)= λ2 (dT/dx)
where λ1 and λ2 heat conductivity of first and second body respectively.
How to assign this contition in Elmer? Is assignation heppens automaticaly or I should do it while pre-processing?
I don't found this information in ElmerModelsManual. It describes only k(dT/dx)= a(T -Text) it's not that I want.

Re: Boundary conditions of two body contact
Hi, this is the natural BC for internal boundaries so no need to do anything. -Peter

Thank you!

Hi! It's me again.
Who can give me an explanation of "heat gap" condition? I'm interested in mathmatical formulation of it.
As I understand, Heat gap govern by heat transfer coeff. An I right?
Whether it means, that k(dT/dx)= a(T -Text) condition is used in this case? Where Text is temperature of neighbour body?

Yes, and this is symmetric so that for the other side it is opposite. -Peter

Thanks! I started to use this programm 3 weeks ago, but it's really friendly for users and other users are friendly for me!!! Great appreciations for developers!
