missing xml files in /tests

Hello,
I'm a newbee and managed to run tutorial1 on win7.
Here a question perhaps posted already in the past but I cannot find the answer:
- why is there only one .xml file in the /tests directories? How can I properly run this interesting examples?

Hi,

you mean the egproject.xml file?

I would advise to open the case.sif and re-enter the parameters in ElmerGUI. Due to a bug in ElmerGUI, it is in general not possible to reload a project saved by someone else, because the configuration (i.e. the solvers which are loaded in ElmerGUI, even if they are not used) affects the information in the egproject.xml, and you get everything screwed up if you load it with a different solver configuration.

yes, it would be good if this problem was stated somewhere, or if the bug in ElmerGUI was fixed. It's a question of manpower in the Elmer team...
