Hi there,
while getting through the tutorial I get a strange bug.
The Gui doesn't write the viscosity as well as the velocities for the boundary conditions.
I can change the case.sif file manually and get the solver working.
A reinstallation of Elmer didn't change anythin, so I guess theres something wrong. Perhaps this occurs at getting the optional edf's into the Gui, but I don't really think so.
Do you know that kind of problem?

Hi,
are you sure you have done "Sif -> Generate" from the menus
after changing values of the various fields, and before saving.

Yes, I've done it multiple times, including reloading the model and remeshing an rebuilding it...
But I guess it's my fault if this problem didn't occur yet.

DIVI, there are a number of file formats supported by Elmer. Some include the whole mesh and assume that you use other tools for mesh generation. Others use the internal plugins to create the mesh giving some limited control over the mesh density in the inline parameters. See ElmerGUI manual Ch. 3 for more details. A good OS candidate for mesh generation might be Gmsh.
