FERRITE CIRCULATOR

Post by vitoanthoni »

Is there any tutorials regarding building ferrite circulator simulation whereas my interest is the usage of the magnetic ferrite cores and also ferrite cores dimension ??

What i am looking for is like COMSOL RF Module for Ferrite Circulator.

Thanks for the attention

Hi Vito,

Googling a few minutes I would guess that it is quite likely that Elmer, and the VectorHelmholtz module therein is up for the job. However, there is definitely no tutorial in this application area. There is just VectorHelmholtzWaveguide* consistency tests. Also EMWaveSolver exists for transient problems. These both work for 3D only.

If you're just looking for a solution this might be quite a stretch. If modeling and setting up an open source workflow is part of your interest you might give it a go.

EMWaveSolver works in both 2D and 3D cases (in the case of 2D simulation the command "Use Piola Transform = True" must however be given in the sif file).
