2D horseshoe magnet solution

Post by mcterry »

In the document ElmerTutorials.pdf, Tutorial 8 titled "Magnetostatics – Magnetic field resulting from a permanent magnet", I am unable to reproduce the solution shown in Figures 8.2 and 8.3. Could someone please provide the .sif that generates this solution? I have tried many combinations of solvers and post-processors that are hinted at in the text discussion of this tutorial, but I cannot find a combination that works.
Thank you.

The tutorial only covers the calculation of potential to get magnetic field add mgdy2d post to the equation, go to solver settings solver specific settings and turn on output options

You get more output options using MgDynPost but you have to manually add

Potential Variable = String "Potential"

to the solver section
