I assumed the output variables that I post process was the same as the calculation variables. I will try "Principal Strain 1", since my tensile test is in the x-direction.

The fallacy of this approach is that it changes Young's Modulus for the whole model. Where in a general material plasticity case, only the elements being stressed over yield start seeing plasticity. I was able to get good results with this approach by making a uni-axial model where all of the elements have the same stress over all time steps.
