Is it possible to calculate the insertion loss from the enegy functional value or some other way? This is assuming that there is energy loss within the waveguide.
I am using the VectorHelmholtz module to model wave propagation in a waveguide and in the tutorial it calculated the input return loss from the energy functional value.

Anyone have any ideas? I am still stuck on this problem!
