StressSolver bug?

Post by mnez »

Hello everybody,
I am working with StressSolver.
I have a problem trying to compute the stress tensor in a harmonic analysis. When the solver tries to compute it, it just say "solution trivially zero" and it writes only zeros in the .ep file. However, the displacement field is right.
I also tried to make a static analysis to the same case and the stress tensor is well calculated, so that makes me think that there is a little bug in the code when calculating the stresses for the harmonic case. I was also trying to fix the fortran code of the solver, but I can't find where could be the mistake.

The same problem was asked before in this forum (about two years ago), but it was not solved.

Could you give me any advice?

Thank you.

Mnez
