Hello,
I want to make a geometrically nonlinear analysis of plate.
I find the shellsolver.src and .dll. But I have some questions.
1.can shellsolver deal with nonlinear questions? Two tests are elastic.
2.if it can deal with nonlinear questions, does it use Newton-Raphson ?
3.how to add concentrated force and what is the meaning of NRM in shellsolver?
I have read the paper"On post-buckling analysis and experimental correlation of cylindrical composite shells with Reissner-Mindlin-Von Karman type facet model".
It uses Riks method.I want it too.
So could you give some help like providing the code in that paper?
Thanks
Sincerely,
Coco

Re: Some questions about shellsolver
Hi Coco
Unfortunately I think that the solver referred in the article never made the open source publication. You can try to contact the authors directly.

Hi,Peter
Thanks for your reply.
Maybe I need to modify the shellsolver.src.
So could you give me some help about the above three questions?
Sincerely,
Coco

Hi,Peter
Could you help me contact the arthor Petri Kere and Mikko Lyly?
I send e-mail to them. But it was rejected.
petri's address:petri.kere@tut.fi
I send to him,it says"User unknown in virtual alias table"
mikko's address:Mikko.Lyly@csc.fi
it says "no such user".
Thanks.
