Hi Peter,
yes you are righ, I was just trying to understand your question and it didn't work
what do you mean by special BC? the interface between pressure and frame surface speed/displacement?
About the displacementent field, I have done some further investigations. I have taken the mesh points and displacement field of the two solutions and represented them as follows
frame solution for vibroacustic_X.sif see picture below
frame solution for vibroacustic_Y.sif see picture below
I have rotated by 90deg clockwise vibroacustic_X and compared it with vibroacustic_Y (see below, the two picture are equivalent, I just use circles instead of points for vibroacustic_X to give a better view of the maching) and found that they matche so there is no apparent reason for pressure to change its configuration.
What do you think about it?

Re: Fluid structure interaction and velocity BC
Hi Marco,
I may have found the bug. The fix is in rev. 6523. Perhaps you can recompile and see if you get reasonable results. Thanx for reporting!

Re: Fluid structure interaction and velocity BC
Fantastic! I have tried it on the ubuntu VM and It works
I'm sooooooooooooo happy ^^
Thanks a lot Peter!!
PS: is there any chance that we are going to see this update in the self extracting binary?

Hi Marco
Great if it works.
About the status of the selfextracting binary you can read in:

Re: Fluid structure interaction and velocity BC
I see, allright, I'll stick with Elmer on VM for now and wait for news
Thanks again!
Cheers,
Marco
