I have quite a little problem.
I bulit up in gmesh a simple tube with an inner diameter of 0.010m and a length of 1m. this tube is flowed through with a water. the flowing water has a defined velocity. by comparison with other calculations, elmer only gives comparable results when the flow is laminar (Re < about 2400).
now my question:
how can I define a turbulent flow inside the tubes?
can elmer itself calculate the Re number and switch between laminar and turbulent flow?
when there is the KEsolver necessary, what are the parameters to be defines?
