StructuredMeshMapper and steady iteration

Post by gagliar »

Dear all,

I am running a transient simulation using steady state iterations over each timestep (Steady State Max Iterations = 8 in the Simulation section). The simulation couple Stokes equations and a free surface. It seems that the Mesh Velocity Variable and the Mesh Update Variable computed by the StructuredMeshMapper solver present an offset each time the number of steady state iterations is different from one time step to an other. Strangely, the mesh deformation and the other results (free surface evolution) seem to be correct and not affected by the offset on the Mesh Velocity Variable and the Mesh Update Variable. I guess this is a bug which doesn't account for steady state iteration over the timestep when evaluating the Mesh Velocity Variable and the Mesh Update Variable?

Regards,
Olivier
