NumberOfBoundaryElements

Hello,
I try to create boundaries elements within a regular mesh, positioned by a "Level-Set Method".
With the aid of a first solver, I change the number of "mesh % NumberOfBoundaryElements" after manually creating new elements. in the following solver, the number remains unchanged.
I tried to force with "Model % Solvers(2) % Mesh % NumberOfBoundaryElements", but it does work. I also tested unsuccessfully with " Model % meshes".
Could you advise me how to do?
Could you also explain how the boundaries elements are identified? Is it only with the " Element% BoundaryInfo % Constraint".
