Specific time-step for each body

Post by MasterYodha »

Hi all,

Would it be possible to have different time-step for each body, i.e. body 1: 1 second, body 2: 1 hour, body 3: 1 day ?

Thanks for your advice.

Hi,

not that I know of.
You might treat bodies separately by applying different Equations to them where different solvers are active.

Hi Matthias,

Thanks for your advice. Then I'll try to modify each timestep definition in separate solver. Hopefully it will work...:)

AFAIK you cannot do that. The time is global. Why should you want to have different timesteps for different bodies anyway? I don't see how this could make sense...
