Hi Peter, So you suggest to edit the sif file with custom made python-Fortran libraries (or manually) and then run the simulation via system level call. Does this also apply for Preprocessing such as selecting boundaries or adding equations. "There are now python bindings in ElmerSolver library...

python lib to set up models and control elmer-fem solver
Hallo, I am wondering if it is possible to set up and solve a complete elmer-fem model via python. All the conditions like boundaries or material should be set from within python. Do I have to edit the SIF file (http://www.csc.fi/english/csc/courses/archive/material/ElmerCourseJan2012/ElmerSolverAnd...
