how to use all cores to the maximum extent?
Hello - is there a way to use all the cores of a CPU to the maximum extent? I'm trying to max out the capabilities of a AMD Quad-Core A6, but the task manager shows that the cores are used somewhere @ 36%-40% (see attached image). I checked "use parallel solver" ( 4 processes ) in parallel...

Sorry to piggyback on this tread, but I'm having the same issue running Elmer on a Windows 7 machine - whenever I try to load a mesh saved as .msh (from GMSH) and ElmerGUI is crashing - any suggestions appreciated - I'm trying to see if ELMER can give similar solutions to OpenFOAM in simulation of a...
